I'm coming next week from Finland to London, and i would like to know is it possible to play in lloyd park? Is there any snow?

Thanks for offers guys!! But i'm coming friday and i have 10 months old child with me and i have to push pushchairs(:. So that's the reason why i'm asking lloyd parks condition...

well krive the grass is quite short but course is on slight hills and a valley section that would be rather had work for a push chair...bring a sled..and tow the little one around...but do play the course its a good one .. a few guys play mainly sunday late morning..you could play a round then.. neil

I still have one problem):. Can anyone tell me, what is the easiest(and cheapest) way to get from baker street to lloyd park? I'm quite sure that there isn't very easy way to get there but i hope that you can help me.

If i use train and underground, what kind of ticket do i need? Is taxis expensive?

I'm coming from finland to stansted airport and i managed to find easyjets buses to baker street but from there to lloyd park, i have to tell you it's not easy for me because i live small place where lives 3500 people. So no undergrounds etc. (:

For the moment, i'm not sure will i ever found way to get there...

krive just go to victoria station and catch any train going to east croydon then us the tram outside there heading for NEW ADDINGTON to go direct to lloyds park.. if you ring me between monday and wednesday i could pick you up from east croydon as i live near by and play a round with you..wednesday at 9 there could be up to 5 or 6 of us playing so thats the best day to aim for...my phone numbers higher up this thread neil

I don't think you have time to wait me and my girlfriend throwing because we have just started to play discgolf last year. So we are not so good yet.

We are coming tomorrow to England. We will be there only saturday and then we leave to Thailand for two weeks. Then we come back to England and i'm going to see spurs game against portsmouth. This is our honeymoon and nobody here in Finland doesen't even know we are getting married tomorrow before leaving here(:

Thank you guys!! I'm very pleased for our honeymoon too(:. We are planning to throw discs in Thailand also. Sadly i think their only course in koh samui is closed.

Maybe i will call or send text message to you Neil! Our exact plans are still open. It's not easy to make plans because everything is so different there in london. For example i don't have clue where we are going to put our luggages.

Can anyone tell me what kind of tickets do we need when we try to get to lloyd park? Is it cheaper just pay cash or maybe buy "oyster card" or something like that?

You will need a zones 1-6 one day travelcard that will give you unlimited travel on trains tubes buses and trams all day from 0930.
On e you get to baker street get the tube to Oxford street and change then get the victoria line to London victoria. Go to the overground station at victoria and get a train to east Croydon from platform 16-19... the very right hand side of the station. It only takes 15 minutes to east Croydon. Go out to the front of east Croydon and you need the first tram platform. You get a number 3 tram to New Addington. 3 stops and get out at Lloyd park. (there maybe engineering works so I would probably. One and meet you) you could leave your luggage in my van.

A slight correction to what Richard said (you may not see this as I think you are travelling as I type but hey ho). You can get a zones 1-5 travel card. Save you a few pennies!
